New Netflix Streaming Releases February 2015
Wow it's February already, January seemed to go by quickly. Now it's February and it's time to see what new releases are coming out for Netflix Instant Streaming this month.
It looks like there is another fairly large list of additions being made to Netflix Instant Streaming this month. So Last month and list month the additions have been large amounts.
Later today I will also be making a post for all of the shows and movies leaving Netflix this month. If you are interested in seeing that list also please be sure to return later.
February 2
‘Along Came Polly’ (2004): Starring Ben Stiller, Jennifer

Craig Barron, and Kirk Baxter. This documentary uses archival footage and
interviews to trace the history of the Academy Awards.
‘Borderland’ (2007): Starring Brian Presley, Rider Strong,
and Jake Muxworthy. On a trip to a Mexican border town, three college friends
stumble upon a human-sacrifice cult.
‘The Brothers Bloom’ (2008): Starring Rachel Weisz, Adrien
Brody, and Mark Ruffalo. The Brothers Bloom are the best con men in the world,
swindling millionaires with complex scenarios of lust and intrigue. Now they’ve
decided to take on one last job—showing a beautiful and eccentric heiress the
time of her life with a romantic adventure that takes them around the world.
‘Bulletproof’ (1996): Starring Damon Wayans, Adam Sandler,
and James Caan. Two criminals, Keats and Moses, end their friendship when Keats
turns out to be an undercover cop. Years later the two are forced to work
together when Keats is assigned to protect Moses as a witness.
‘Cecil B. Demented’ (2000): Starring Stephen Dorff, Melanie

‘Crazy Eights’ (2006): Starring Dina Meyer, George Newbern,
and Traci Lords. Circumstance brings six childhood friends together to face
their past, and a secret they share.
‘Danny Deckchair’ (2003): Starring Rhys Ifans, Miranda Otto,
and Justine Clarke. An Aussie becomes a national sensation when he lifts off in
his deck chair tied to balloons.
‘Dark Ride’ (2006): Starring Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Patrick
Renna, and David Clayton. A group of six friends on a road trip stop off at an
amusement park attraction named “Dark Ride,” unaware that a psychopath who
brutally murdered two girls, has just escaped a mental institution and is
seeking refuge there.
‘The Deaths of Ian Stone’ (2007): Starring Mike Vogel,
Christina Cole, and Michael Feast. Deaths tells the story of an all-American
guy who is murdered each day by horrifying pursuers, only to wake up in
slightly different lives to experience the terror of being murdered again.
‘Departures’ Seasons 1 and 2 (2008—2009): Documentary series
following the action-packed adventures of two traveling friends.
‘Diggstown’ (1992): Starring James Woods, Heather Graham,
and Louis Gossett Jr. Upon being released from prison, Gabriel Caine makes a
bet with a boxing ring owner that he can find a boxer to knock out 10 of his
renowned fighters in 24 hours.
‘Disneynature: Wings of Life’ (2007): A documentary that
delves into the realm of flowers and their pollinators.
‘Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood’ (2002): Starring
Sandra Bullock, Ellen Burstyn, and James Garner. After years of mother-daughter
tension, Siddalee receives a scrapbook detailing the wild adventures of the
“Ya-Yas”, her mother’s girlhood friends.
‘Expelled’ (2014): Starring Cameron Dallas, Matt Shively,
and Lia Marie Johnson. Felix is a legendary prankster who gets expelled from
his high school and, with the help of his friends, will stop at nothing to hide
it from his parents.
‘Field of Lost Shoes’ (2014): Starring David Arquette, Keith
David, and Lauren Holly. A group of unseasoned teen cadets must confront the
realities of battle when they’re called upon to serve during the Civil War.
‘Fools Rush In’ (1997): Starring Matthew Perry, Salma Hayek,
and Jon Tenney. After a one night stand with Isabel, Alex realizes that she is
pregnant and they decide to get married. However, along with the marriage comes
compromise of one’s own cultural traditions.
‘Generation Iron’ (2013): Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger,
Mickey Rourke, and Lou Ferrigno. A documentary that follows top bodybuilders as
they train to compete in the Mr. Olympia competition.
‘Gimme Shelter’ (2013): Starring Vanessa Hudgens, Rosario
Dawson, and Brendan Fraser. A pregnant teenager flees her abusive mother in
search of her father, only to be rejected by her dad and forced to survive on
the streets until a compassionate stranger offers a hopeful alternative.
‘Girls Just Want To Have Fun’ (1985): Starring Helen Hunt,
Sarah Jessica Parker, and Shannen Doherty. Janey and her friend Lynne are
obsessed with dance TV shows, but when the opportunity arises for them to
audition for their favorite program, Janey’s father disapproves.
‘Hitch’ (2005): Starring Will Smith, Kevin James, and Eva
Mendes. While helping his latest client woo the fine lady of his dreams, a

‘Into the Blue 2: The Reef’ (2009): Starring Chris Carmack,
Laura Vandervoort, and Marsha Thomason. A pair of professional divers are hired
to find Columbus’ hidden treasure.
‘Isolated’ (2013): Starring Ryan Phillippe, Travis Potter,
and Jenny Useldinger. Five world class surfers travel to New Guinea in search
of undiscovered waves, but end up discovering so much more.
‘Joe’ (2013): Starring Nicolas Cage, Tye Sheridan, and Gary
Poulter. An ex-con, who is the unlikeliest of role models, meets a 15 year-old
boy and is faced with the choice of redemption or ruin.
‘King Arthur’ (2004): Starring Clive Owen, Stephen Dillane,
and Keira Knightley. A demystified take on the tale of King Arthur and the
Knights of the Round Table.
‘Lars and the Real Girl’ (2007): Starring Ryan Gosling, Paul
Schneider, and Emily Mortimer. A delusional young man strikes up an
unconventional relationship with a doll he finds on the Internet.
‘Leaving Las Vegas’ (1995): Starring Nicolas Cage, Elisabeth
Shue, and Julian Sands. Ben Sanderson, an alcoholic Hollywood screenwriter who
lost everything because of his drinking, arrives in Las Vegas to drink himself
to death. There, he meets and forms an uneasy friendship and non-interference
pact with prostitute Sera.
‘Magic City’ Seasons 1 and 2 (2012—2013): Starring Jeffrey
Dean Morgan, Olga Kurylenko, and Steven Strait. Centers on Miami mobsters and
other characters from Miami Beach in the late 1950s.
‘M.A.S.H.’ Seasons 1—5 (1972—1977): Starring Alan Alda,
Wayne Rogers, and Loretta Swit. The staff of an army hospital in the Korean war
find that laughter is the best way to deal with their situation.
‘My First Mister’ (2001): Starring Leelee Sobieski, Albert
Brooks, and Desmond Harrington. A 17-year-old girl has a troubled relationship
with a 49-year-old man.
‘Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult’ (1994): Starring Leslie
Nielsen, George Kennedy, and Anna Nicole Smith. Frank Drebin comes out of
retirement to help Police Squad infiltrate a gang of terrorists planning to
detonate a bomb at the Academy Awards.
‘Next Stop Wonderland’ (1998): Starring Hope Davis, Alan
Gelfant, and Philip Seymour Hoffman. An unlucky in love nurse finds her life
taking a detour when her mother places a personals ad in the paper, while on
the other side of Boston, a plumber is trying to change careers.
‘Now: In the Wings on a World Stage’ (2014): Kevin Spacey,
Sam Mendes and the Bridge Project Company reveal some of the most intimate
moments behind the scenes of their staging of Richard III.
‘The Object of Beauty’ (1991): Starring John Malkovich,
Andie MacDowell, and Lolita Davidovich. A scoundrel and his girlfriend search
for a thief.
‘The Other End of the Line’ (2008): Starring Jesse Metcalfe,
Shriya Saran, and Larry Miller. An employee at an Indian call-center travels to
San Francisco to be with a guy she falls for over the phone.
‘Paul Williams: Still Alive’ (2011): A documentary about
legendary songwriter and ‘70s icon Paul Williams.
‘Proof’ (2005): Starring Gwyneth Paltrow, Anthony Hopkins,
and Jake Gyllenhaal. The daughter of a brilliant but mentally disturbed
mathematician, recently deceased, tries to come to grips with her possible
inheritance: his insanity. Complicating matters are one of her father’s
ex-students who wants to search through his papers and her estranged sister who
shows up to help settle his affairs.
‘Quest for Fire’ (1981): Starring Ron Perlman, Everett
McGill, and Rae Dawn Chong. Men search for a new source of fire in the
prehistoric period.
‘Re-Animator’ (1985): Starring Jeffrey Combs, Bruce Abbott,
and Barbara Crampton. A dedicated student at a medical college and his
girlfriend become involved in bizarre experiments centering around the
re-animation of dead tissue when an odd new student arrives on campus.
‘Showgirls’ (1995): Starring Elizabeth Berkley, Gina
Gershon, and Kyle MacLachlan. A young drifter named Nomi arrives in Las Vegas
to become a dancer and soon sets about clawing and pushing her way to become
the top of the Vegas showgirls.
‘Spartacus’ Complete Series (2010—2013): Starring Andy
Whitfield, Lucy Lawless, and Manu Bennett. Watch the story of history’s
greatest gladiator unfold with graphic violence and explicit sex. This is
Spartacus.
‘Starship Troopers’ (1997): Starring Casper Van Dien, Dina
Meyer, and Denise Richards. Humans in a fascistic, militaristic future do
battle with giant alien bugs in a fight for survival.
‘Steel Magnolias’ (1989): Starring Sally Field, Dolly
Parton, and Shirley MacLaine. Follows the friendship of five close-knit women
in a southern town.
‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II’ (1991): Starring Paige
Turco, David Warner, and Mark Caso. The Turtles and the Shredder battle once
again, this time for the last cannister of the ooze that created the Turtles,
which Shredder wants to create an army of new mutants.
‘To Be or Not To Be’ (1983): Starring Mel Brooks, Anne
Bancroft, and Tim Matheson. A Polish actor working during World War II makes a
plan to escape with his entertainer wife.
‘Ulee’s Gold’ (1997): Starring Peter Fonda, Patricia
Richardson, and Christine Dunford. A reclusive beekeeper slowly pulls his
dysfunctional family back together, but not without having to fight his son’s
previous dastardly cohorts.
‘Unearthed’ (2007): Starring Emmanuelle Vaugier, Luke Goss,
and Charlie Murphy. An unknown creature terrorizes an archeological dig in the
middle of a desolate New Mexico town.
‘The Verdict’ (1982): Starring Paul Newman, Charlotte
Rampling, and Jack Warden. A lawyer sees the chance to salvage his career and
self-respect by taking a medical malpractice case to trial rather than
settling.
‘We Could Be King’ (2014): Germantown and Martin Luther King
High Schools were bitter rivals for over 40 years. This past year, a budget
crisis caused Philadelphia to lay off over 4000 employees and close two dozen
schools, including Germantown High. Now Germantown must merge with their former
rival, King. Against overwhelming odds, a 27-year old first time head coach and
a new principal fight to inspire young men from difficult circumstances to come
together and lift each other toward a better future.
‘We’re No Angels’ (1989): Starring Robert De Niro, Sean
Penn, and Demi Moore. Two escaped cons only prayer to escape is to pass
themselves off as priests and pass by the police blockade at the border into
the safety of Canada.
‘Wicked Little Things’ (2006): Starring Scout
Taylor-Compton, Chloe Grace Moretz, and Geoffrey Lewis. Karen, Sarah, and Emma
Tunney are all moving to a small town in Pennsylvania where, unknown to them,
in 1913, a horrid mine accident trapped dozens of children alive, underground.
But there’s a problem. They’re still alive.
‘Zapped’ (2014): Starring Zendaya, Chanelle Peloso, and
Spencer Boldman. When 16 year old Zoey’s mom remarries, she finds it hard

‘Danger 5’ Complete Series (2011—2012): Starring David
Ashby, Sean James Murphy, and Natasa Ristic. Set in a bizarre 1960's inspired
version of World War II, this action comedy series follows a team of five spies
on a mission to kill Hitler.
February 7
‘Dead Snow: Red vs. Dead’ (2014): Starring Vegar Hoel,
Martin Starr, and Orjan Gamst. If the worst day of your life consisted of
accidentally killing your girlfriend with an axe, chain-sawing your own arm
off, and watching in horror as your closest friends were devoured by a
zombified Nazi battalion, you’d have to assume that things couldn’t get much
worse. In Martin’s case, that was only the beginning.
‘Elsa and Fred’ (2014): Starring Shirley MacLaine,
Christopher Plummer, and Marcia Gay Harden. The story of two older people who
meet one another and discover that it’s never too late for love.
February 8
‘Blood Ties’ (2013): Starring Clive Owen, Marion Cotillard,
and Billy Crudup. Two brothers, on either side of the law, face off over
organized crime in Brooklyn during the 1970s.
‘Catch Hell’ (2014): Starring Ryan Phillippe, Joyful Drake,
and Tig Notaro. A washed-up actor is kidnapped on the way to an acting gig in
Louisiana.

‘Dwight Howard: In the Moment’ (2014): The comedian’s new
stand-up special.
February 11
‘Mr. Peabody and Sherman’ (2014): Starring Ty Burrell, Max
Charles, and Stephen Colbert. The time-traveling adventures of an advanced
canine and his adopted son, as they endeavor to fix a time rift they created.
February 12
‘Scary Movie 5’ (2013): Starring Simon Rex, Ashley Tisdale,
and Charlie Sheen. A couple begin to experience some unusual activity after
bringing their lost nieces and nephew home. With the help of home-surveillance
cameras, they learn they’re being stalked by a nefarious demon.
‘The Two Faces of January’ (2014): Starring Kirsten Dunst,
Oscar Isaac, and Viggo Mortensen. A thriller centered on a con artist, his
wife, and a stranger who flee Athens after one of them is caught up in the
death of a private detective.
‘Young Ones’ (2014): Starring Michael Shannon, Kodi
Smit-McPhee, and Nicholas Hoult. Set in the future when water is hard to find a
teenage boy sets out to protect his family and survive.
February 16
‘Save the Date’ (2012): Starring Lizzy Caplan, Alison Brie,
and Mark Webber. Sarah begins to confront her shortcomings after she rejects
her boyfriend’s hasty proposal and soon finds herself in a rebound romance.
Meanwhile, her sister Beth is immersed in the details of her wedding.
February 17
‘The Overnighters’ (2014): Broken, desperate men chase their
dreams and run from their demons in the North Dakota oil fields. A local Pastor

‘Earth to Echo’ (2014): Starring Teo Halm, Astro, and Reese
Hartwig. After receiving a bizarre series of encrypted messages, a group of

‘The Fluffy Movie’ (2014): A comedy concert film that
captures the on-stage performance and inspirational success story of Gabriel
“Fluffy” Iglesias.
‘In Secret’ (2013): Starring Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Felton,

February 24
‘1,000 Times Goodnight’ (2013): Starring Juliette Binoche,
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, and Maria Doyle Kennedy. Rebecca is one of the world’s
top war photographers, but her husband refuses to put up with his wife risking
her life any longer.
‘Hawaii Five-O’ Seasons 1—4 (2010—2014): Starring Alex

February 26
‘Open Windows’ (2014): Starring Elijah Wood, Sasha Grey, and
Neil Maskell. A jilted fan soon finds himself pulled into a deadly game of
cat-and-mouse after he accepts the opportunity to spy on his favorite actress
via his laptop.
‘Russell Brand: Messiah Complex’ (2013): Russell Brand takes
on icons, corporations, commercial exploitation, cult of personality, celebrity
worship, sex, drugs and his own hypocrisy in a hilarious and scathing
performance filmed live at London’s Historic Hammersmith Apollo.
February 27
‘House of Cards’ Season 3 (2015): Starring Kevin Spacey,
Robin Wright, and Michael Gill. A Congressman works with his equally conniving
wife to exact revenge on the people who betrayed him.
Some good additions being made this month, I hope you enjoy some of these, myself personally I am going to watch the RoboCop remake.
